Jennifer Krieger has gained recognition as a successful dealer and academic scholar in the field of American art. She graduated with honors from Vassar College with a focus in American art history, as well as degrees in Economics and French Literature. She was nominated for the Robert C. Vose Scholarship in American art. In addition to assisting in the formation of, and creating research for, numerous outstanding American painting collections, she has also written scholarly articles for the American Art Review and the Catalogue of Antiques and Fine Art. Chosen for her outstanding experience and research on 19th century women artists, Jennifer served as the co-curator of the 2010 exhibition Remember the Ladies at the Thomas Cole House, the first ever exhibition solely dedication to the work of female Hudson River School artists. She is a member of the New York Junior League and a member of the Association of Online Appraisers. Most of all, she welcomes the opportunity to share with you her passion for and specialized knowledge of this magnificent period of art.

Ashley Gallman possesses an array of experience in the art industry, having observed the market from the perspective of a nonprofit collection, an auction house, and an art gallery. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she studied Art History and English Literature. While at Sewanee, she served as the student curator of the University’s collection and co-curated an exhibit that included the work of artists such as Albrecht Durer and Francisco de Goya. She began her career at Sotheby’s, working primarily with the American and Old Masters departments in client development. She joined Jennifer at Hawthorne Fine Art in 2009, where she utilizes her diverse background to provide an informed perspective on American Art and its market.

Antonia Pocock graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago in 2007, with degrees in Art History and Visual Arts. Her thesis on the subject of postwar figurative painting was awarded the Robert and Joan Feitler Prize. In Chicago, she held internships at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Roger Brown Study Institute, and the David and Alfred Smart Museum of Art, and also worked for Packer-Schopf Gallery. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Art History as a Panofsky fellow at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts.
